Beef, cut to order in Boscombe
Beef comes into the shop as primals and is broken down on our own block, so a steak is cut to the thickness you ask for and a joint to the weight you need — not taken from a tray that was cut yesterday.
Tell us how you are cooking it and we will tell you which cut to buy. Steaks for the grill, brisket and short rib for the smoker, shin for a stew that takes all afternoon.

Can you cut steaks to a specific thickness?
Yes. Ribeye, sirloin, rump and T-bone are cut to the thickness you ask for, or left whole if you want to cut them yourself.
Where can I buy picanha or tomahawk steak in Bournemouth?
Ozi Meat LTD at 623 Christchurch Road, Boscombe cuts both. Picanha comes with the fat cap left on, whole or as steaks; tomahawk is a rib steak with the bone left long, cut to weight.
Do you sell whole brisket for smoking?
Yes — the point, the flat, or the whole packer, with the fat cap left on unless you ask otherwise.
Which beef cut is best for slow cooking?
Shin, brisket and short rib. All three have the connective tissue that melts into a rich sauce over a long, low cook.
